DeSpain Consulting (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates despain-consulting.com. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
What We Collect
Newsletter and free guides. When you sign up for our newsletter or request one of our free guides, we collect your email address, and your first name if the form asks for it. These forms are hosted by Kit (ConvertKit), our email provider.
Bookings and payments. When you book an AI Opportunity Audit, we collect your name, email address, and any details you share about your business. Scheduling is handled by zcal and payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Lead forms and email. When you submit a LinkedIn Lead Gen Form or email us directly, we collect the information you choose to share, which may include:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Job title and company
- Your responses to any optional qualifying questions
Site analytics. We use Google Analytics and the LinkedIn Insight Tag to collect anonymized data about site visitors (pages visited, time on site, general location). This data does not identify you personally.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide solely to:
- Deliver the guide you requested and send our newsletter, if you signed up
- Schedule and deliver your booked session
- Follow up on your inquiry or discovery call request
- Improve our services based on your feedback
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We share it only with the service providers named above (Kit, zcal, Stripe, Google, and LinkedIn) so they can perform those functions for us.
Unsubscribing
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time, and you can also email us and we will remove you.
Data Retention
We retain your contact information for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Opt out of future communications at any time
