We test everything in our own businesses before we recommend it to a client. Every result on this page comes from a system we designed, built, and operate day to day. The numbers come straight from the platforms that recorded them.
From $138 in Ad Spend to $6,625 in Revenue
The problem: Wasatch Gift, our artisan gift e-commerce brand, needed seasonal ad campaigns without an agency budget. Producing enough ad variations to find a winner takes days of design and copy work, and small budgets burn out while the platform is still figuring out which creative performs.
What we built: A programmatic ad system that generates campaign creative and copy at scale (up to 120 ad variations per run), uploads directly to Meta with targeting and tracking already configured, and reports performance daily on a dashboard that recommends next actions in plain language: hold steady, add variants, pause underperformers, or scale budget.
The results (Mother’s Day 2026 campaign):
- $138.12 total ad spend over the 15-day campaign
- 8.06% click-through rate, 5.4 times the DTC benchmark of 1.5%
- $0.11 cost per click
- 24 orders and $6,625 in revenue during the campaign window
- 47.97x blended return on ad spend
Blended return counts all store revenue during the campaign window, because gift buyers rarely click an ad and purchase in the same session. Even measured conservatively, the campaign paid for itself many times over, and the system that ran it now relaunches for each new season with a single command.
Invoice Data Entry: From a Standing Chore to 30 Seconds
The problem: Every product invoice had to be typed into a spreadsheet by hand: vendor, dates, line items, cost per unit. The work was tedious and error-prone, it always ran behind, and pricing decisions were being made on stale cost data.
What we built: A document workflow that reads each PDF invoice, extracts the vendor, date, contents, and unit costs, and appends them to the tracking spreadsheet used for margin planning. Drop the invoice in a folder, run one command, done.
The results:
- A recurring data entry chore now takes about 30 seconds per invoice
- No transcription errors and no manual math
- Cost data is current for every pricing and margin decision
Operations Knowledge Out of One Person’s Head
The problem: A historic property with decades of operational detail: vendor relationships, maintenance schedules, HOA contracts, and preservation requirements. All of it lived in one person’s memory and a scatter of files. Every question meant digging, and the knowledge would leave when the person did.
What we built: An assistant that lives in Slack, backed by a structured knowledge base covering the property’s contracts, vendors, and maintenance history. Ask a question from any device and get the answer, with the relevant contract detail or vendor history attached. Building the integration ourselves avoided an enterprise software plan that would have cost hundreds of dollars per month.
The results:
- Answers in seconds instead of searches through files and inboxes
- Institutional knowledge that survives beyond any one person’s memory
- Hundreds of dollars per month in avoided software costs
