We want everyone to be able to use despain-consulting.com, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology.
Our Standard
We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. In practice, that means:
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a “Skip to main content” link
- Text and buttons meet WCAG color contrast requirements
- Images have text alternatives, and pages use a clear heading structure and page landmarks
- Pages reflow to a 320-pixel-wide screen without horizontal scrolling
- Animation and smooth scrolling are turned off when your device asks for reduced motion
- Links that open a new tab say so
How We Test
We check the site with automated WCAG 2.2 AA testing and by hand, including keyboard-only navigation and mobile screen sizes. We review accessibility again whenever we make significant changes to the site.
Third-Party Tools
Some parts of the site are provided by other companies, and we don’t control their code:
- Newsletter and guide sign-up forms are provided by Kit
- Booking and scheduling is provided by zcal, with payment processed by Stripe
